No Obstacle Is Permanent: Turning Christmas Reflection Into Forward Momentum

As long as you are alive, no obstacle is permanent.
As we near Christmas Day, may we be reminded that Jesus was born, but He did not remain a baby. He grew with a mission—and that mission was to be our sacrifice for the remission of sin. Let us not give up or become comfortable with where we are right now. “Right now” is not our destiny. Keep moving toward your mission with the understanding that you can be more tomorrow than you are today, with the help of God.
We are affected by what happens to us each day of our lives. Some things are positive; some things are negative. Yes, it often feels as though the negative things remain in our mindset longer than the positive. But we still have a choice:
Do we stay where we are, or do we move toward what can be?
If you are an “eagle chick” and all of your life you are surrounded by farmyard chickens, you will act and eat like a farmyard chicken. But if you look up and see eagles soaring, a thought might arise—Why am I eating with chickens instead of flying with eagles?
Our surroundings, influences, and thought patterns deeply affect how we grow and what we believe is possible. Studies on mindset and environment consistently show how our thoughts and the people around us shape our ability to move forward and overcome challenges (Psychology Today – Mindset).
Who are you surrounding yourself with today? What thoughts are you allowing to remain in your mind?
When you face an obstacle, remember this: it does not have to be permanent—unless you allow it to be. What happens to us each day, whether positive or negative, affects not only us but those around us. Instead of allowing obstacles to stop you, use them as steppingstones that lead to greater faith, growth, and success.
As we reflect during this Christmas season, may we choose faith over fear, purpose over comfort, and movement over stagnation. Let this season be a reminder that God is still working, still strengthening, and still preparing you for what’s ahead.
As we step into Christmas and prepare our hearts for 2026, don’t let this reflection end here. Take time today to evaluate your mindset, your environment, and the people you surround yourself with.
Choose Growth. Choose Faith. Choose Forward Movement.
If this message encouraged you, we invite you to stay connected with WKB Ministries for continued encouragement, biblical teaching, and faith-based resources designed to help you grow spiritually and walk confidently in your God-given purpose.
Your next season can be greater than your current one—because with God, no obstacle is permanent.
